Halo

This game comes from makers Bungie, they already have a great reputation for making excellent games for the Mac games such as Myth and the Marathon series. Microsoft seeing this company's potential has already bought out this company outright.

This Sci-fi story is set on an alien ring-world (Halo) in outer space with stunning graphics that will push Mac's capabilities to the limit so it should perfectly complement the Xbox's power.

Halo is a combination shooter and squad based tactical combat, it will have you battling on foot, and in vehicles, inside and outdoors with Alien and Human weaponry. This game is ideal for online cooperative gameplay which also makes it such a good title for the XBox. You can form a team, or fight alone. Fight cooperatively with your friends, battle it out in deathmatches via intense split screen combat or fight co-op with a friend through the single player missions. Your objective in the game be it on your own or you playing online is to uncover Halo’s dark secrets and destroy man's sworn enemy the Covenant.

In this game you have a huge variety of weapons. Kill your enemies with an array of Human or Covenant weaponry ranging from semi-automatic pistols and alien plasma swords to rocket launchers and flame throwers.

You can tackle missions anyway you choose, on foor or with vehicles. The strategy is entirely upto you. You can stealthly approach an enemy base on foot or you can storm it with tanks or you can float in with hovercrafts, the choice is entirely upto you.

Be it indoor or outdoor combat, the graphics are impecable. Outdoors you can see the dust trails you leave behind when you walk and indoors every corridor has a differnt lighting affect with shadows lurking in the dark. These graphics are as realistic as you will see on a machine of this power.
