Tomb Raider Directed by Simon West (I) Cast: Angelina Jolie, Daniel Craig, Leslie Phillips, Mark Collie, Jon Voight. Born into wealth. Groomed by the elite. Trained for combat. I think it was about time we needed another Indiana Jones film, be it without Indiana Jones. There havent been many in the recent past that have done well at the box office, this is mainly because some of these adventures seems a little too far fetched for the normal person to grasp. I think this time they will be mesmorised by a acrobatic Angelina Jolie in leather boots and hot pants. Although Saffron Burrows was touted as the possible lead Paramounted wanted an actress with "marketing power". So I dont think Paramount could have picked a better person, with a better attitude. She even retains her attitude despite having an english accent! The only down side to the movie is the inclusion of a number of sidekicks. Whereas in the console game she works alone, in this movie she has help from her own James Bond Style "Q" (Noah Taylor) and team. I think this is one of the films that can make a successful conversion from the games world to the big screen. It has all the makings of a hit.
