During his first year at Exeter University he sported a long coat and a trilby hat; Steptoe & The Bunnymen chic. Still likes clothes. Changes his hairstyle more often and more radically than the others. Writes the bulk of the songs which the band arranges and mutates. Drives a Fiat Punto.


Thom likes Macintosh. He has Apple stickers on some of his guitars.

Once Thom smashed his guitars and trashed Phil's drumkit. Then he realized what he did, and apologized to Phil by taking him and his family out to tea.

Thom gets mad when people mosh at their concerts or when the press talks shit about him.

He also doesn't like it when Jonny breaks into his guitars and rewires them.

When Thom started at his second school, Abingdon Boys School, (a private school), his new mates gave him the nickname "Salamander" because of his eye. He got into a fight with the guy who originated the name but that didnt stop much.

Thom met his girlfriend Rachel while attending university.

Shopping makes him happy.

He's been dying his hair since the age of 13. But now it's back to its original color - brown.
