This is primarily a PC game that was was so successful that it was felt that it would also do well on other platforms. This kind of thing makes you wary of buying a game because you know that it wasnt specifically designed for this platform an so it might be hashed together to make some money. But i can safely say that Rainbow Six works very well on this platform. I would go as far as to say that Rainbow Six bring out the best in N64.
The team is not only excellent in its gameplay it also has extremely smooth gameplay which sometimes PC play lacks. The sound quality is also very good, you can make out radio chatter in the background and know whats going on with your team without it infringing on your game or breaking your concentration.
The story as is goes is that as the only leader capable of stopping deadly terrorism, you must head an elite multi-national strike force and engage enemies in exotic locales. A mansion in the Congo, a Paris theme park and a North Sea drilling platform to name but a few. These are the command and control centers you must infiltrate and destroy. It's one pulse-pounding mission after another that you won't want to miss!
Pick team members from an international group of 20 special forces operatives trained for anti-terrorist missions. This special UN Force takes it pick from the best its members have to offer. There are more than 200 individual motion-capture moves which makes for stunning and realistic graphics and smooth gameplay. It also has more than 250 sound effects, which makes you feel you're part of the action. Sometime the only thing you can hear are the footsteps of your enemies coming towards you which makes for tense and exciting gameplay.
