Last Samurai Preview

Tom Cruise plays a 19th-century American military officer who travels to Japan to help organize and teach the emperor's troops during a time of feudal conflict on the island. As he learns more about the samurai, the traditional protectors of feudal lands, he comes to understand and appreciate the complicated system of honor under which they live.
