Tag line: He's the Agent even the Secret Service keep Secret.
He knows no fear. He knows no danger. He knows nothing! Rowan Atkinson has been playing Johnny English in adverts for a well known British bank for years. Its a sort of Mr. Bean meets James Bond. The writers of this film are the same ones that wrote Die Another Day, and guess what they made this one comical too.

The Dastedly french are at it again! If they're not vito-ing our resolutions they are stealing our crown jewels. But they have something more siniter in mind - taking over the British throne!
| Unfortunately the only Secret Agent left to save the throne is Johnny English.
John Malkovich plays Pascal Sauvage, the Frenchman behind this master plan. You know this is a simple movie when the the bad guy has an evil name, just incase the audience didnt figure out he was the bad guy.
John Malkovich plays these sorts of parts now and again and from his acting you can tell he does this to have some fun from his serious roles - or he just has to pay the bills like the rest of us.
The comedy is fast and furious. Natalie Imbruglia does well in her debut film and Rowan Atkinson plays the lovable bumbling fool well - Watch out Hugh Grant! |
