Gorillaz - 'Clint Eastwood' (EMI) Its certainly different but is it any good? This song reflects 21st century life, good presentation but shame about the content. 'Clint Eastwood' isn't just a song, it's a concept, an impressive animated video, Ed Case remix, a multimedia CD linking you up with the virtual Internet home of the fictional Gorillaz characters. If you didnt see the video you probably wouldn't have given the song a second thought. So you know this band was carefully contrived and given the full PR treatment to make everyone take notice. However this song is something original, its like the band have created something of there own music genre, something that can loosely be defined as art-rap. If you like Gorillaz and this kind of music then you'll love Deltron 3030. It may not be brilliant but it's certainly is different from all the other sickly sweet songs out there.
