| Its a poor man's Ocean 11. Likeable rogues need money and a heist is the best way to get rich quick. A very entertaining film full of subtle humor. |

Welcome to Collinwood
Directed by Anthony Russo (II) Joe Russo (II)
Cast: Luis Guzman, Michael Jeter, Patricia Clarkson, Andrew Davoli, Isaiah Washington, William H. Macy, Sam Rockwell, Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Esposito, George Clooney
Tag line: Five guys. One safe. No brains
With the highly talented assembled cast i was really looking forward to the Russo brother's first written/directed film.
The premise of the story is that five washed up crimanals in small time America need money. Some need it for a good cause, Isaiah Washington wants to keep his sister, Gabrielle Union out of trouble. Others do it to impress the ladies or out of sheer boredom.

| They put together a scheme with a help of George Clooney, who is confined to a wheel chair. The rest as they say is history.
The dialogue between the characters is very sharp and with such a talented cast they pull it off brilliantly. If you can look past the obvious shallow storyline and take this film for what it is, this is a highly entertaining film. It makes you root for the underdog as you watch them stumble from one disaster to another.
This is a very competant first film by the Russo brothers and with George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh backing them lets hope they give us something like this on a grander scale.
