ARTFUL DODGER - 'Its All About The  Stragglers ' (FFRR) Artful Dodger was the Garage man of 2000 but now his songs are getting weaker and weaker. He lack the underground influence of some of his best releases. Artful Dodger should really have left the Garage album bit to MJ Cole and continued releasing singles since they clearly intend to milk 'It's All About The Stragglers' for all its worth. These singles venture too far in the Pop/R&B direction and lacks the underground Garage edge that made Artful Dodger a star in 2000. Its no denying the songs will do well, but not for the right reasons. They will appeal to the larger masses and Artful Dodger will lose his core underground Garage fans. The people who made him famous in the first place. The album title says it all...its all about the stragglers. Artful is a straggler in this genre now and no doubt make a lot of money.  Rating:
